I find James Chapter 2 , verses 20 to 26 VERY confusing , whilst trusting Jesus Christ alone for my salvation ( John , Chapter 6 , verses 37 to 47 is basic for me ) . This writing of James appears to conflict with Ephesians , Chapter 2 , verses 8 and 9 . A light on this please .

Both, _Lordship Salvation_ and _Free Grace Theology_ are trojan horses in Christianity. Both are Dispensational errors. Somebody said: "the greatest danger of Dispensationalism is that people don't know they are Dispensational"

I think that James , Chapter 2 , verses 20 to 26 makes some confused . Frankly , if it comes down to either trusting Jesus or James , it's no contest . James didn't die for me in payment of my sins . John Ch.6 verse 37 to 47 is my base of trust in Christ , who cannot lie . So , what's James on about , bear in mind Ephesians 2 , verses 8 and 9 ... ?

Can someone PLEASE explain what James , Chapter 2 , verses 20 to 26 is all about ? It appears to directly disagree with Ephesians 2 , verses 8 and 9 . This is the " Elephant in the Room " for me , or it would be if I did not take Jesus Christ at His word in John Ch.6 , verses 37 to 40 . Thanks .

What does it mean Faith without works is dead " ( James , Chapter 2 , verse 26 ) . This comment confuses me . I trust Christ for my salvation and that's a done deal ( John 6 , verse 37 to 40 ) .

I am NOT "being saved". I am SAVED. A new born has a BIRTHday. Then comes the growing up years. Sanctification is our growing "in" Christ after we are BORN AGAIN. John 3:3, 2nd Corinthians 5:17 (AV1611KJB).

It's not hard to refute. Its hard to rid oneself of presuppositions. Calvinism is giving a numerous set of false explanations on why the Bible is not true. They dont believe scripture.

Excellent brother! You are right on track. Calvinism is deceptive it has infiltrated many of our churches.

Thank you soooooooo much Pastor Cucuzza for your boldness to teach this and to expose its heresy, regarding Lordship salvation; and those who willfully continue to teach it after they have been warned countless times of its unbiblical doctrine. If you don't get the gospel right, nothing else matters. Sadly, soooooooo many people who have/are caught up in the false doctrine of Lordship salvation and Calvinism; which are NOT the true gospel of grace alone through faith alone in trusting in the BLOOD ATONEMENT alone for salvation of Jesus Christ alone according to scripture alone. I have encountered that most people who have or are accepting these false doctrines. They rather be right in their own minds than to be biblically corrected to what scripture alone says. As scripture says... 2 Timothy 4:3-4. 3. For the time will come they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables (grk. falsehoods, not sound doctrine).

there are virtually ZERO churches presenting the one true Gospel of grace. and ZERO that accept correction either. look around and see if this isn’t the case. if anyone knows of a church in SW Michigan that isn’t Calvinistic-lordship salvation or isn’t Arminian or Pentecostal with wild rock music or Hillsong stuff or isn’t one of the far left dead churches with female pastors and the rainbow agenda…well, let me know.

the KJV itself obscures the deity of christ in places like john 1:18. i use it from habit, but am constantly having to check it against objectively better and newer translations

Good works can never save us....but the scripture is replete with examples of what a person who has been saved by grace becomes....not as another means of salvation but as fruit produced from a life that is grareful for the work of christ on the cross

I know this channel is anti-Catholic, but the best advice I ever got on this was from a Catholic priest, "do not believe in perseverance of the saints, instead believe in the perseverance of God the Son."

A bit legalistic. Some of the examples had some merit, others were a stretch imo.

The hole I see in this is that people like Piper and MacArthur say you can't lose your salvation, but you still have to maintain it by how you live. If you have to maintain it, then you can lose it.

I lost my blood brother today. I have been listening to this pastor for about 6 months. The gospel of Christ is simple. As soon as it has to be studied and interpreted by "specialists" that is when the Scribes and Pharisees are involved.

This is one of the best and simple explanations I’ve ever heard from Calvin and I’ve listened to a lot of them. Great job.
